About Viktor

Viktor’s entrepreneurial spirit ignited during his college years, driven by his geeky fascination with computers and security. His first significant venture, YippieMove, was an innovative email migration service that showcased his ability to master complex technological challenges. Establishing a remote-only model at YippieMove, Viktor embraced the flexibility and scalability it offered, allowing his team to thrive in a digital world.

Continuing his journey, Viktor created Blotter, a productivity app for macOS. Bootstrapped from the ground up, Blotter quickly climbed to the top 10 in the Mac App Store, demonstrating Viktor’s knack for developing products that resonate deeply with users.

During the early days of cloud computing, Viktor worked closely with cloud vendors and became an early adopter of Docker and Kubernetes. His expertise in DevSecOps and security made him a valuable advisor and evangelist in the industry.

The pinnacle of Viktor’s entrepreneurial journey has been the founding of Screenly, starting with Anthias, the most popular open-source digital signage solution on GitHub. This success laid the groundwork for Screenly's innovative digital signage products, attracting high-profile customers like NASA, Lowe's, and Capital One. A prolific blogger and podcaster, Viktor continues to share his knowledge and drive the digital signage industry forward.
